A note from the teacher:

Thank You for being curious about my class series: The Lost Art of Raw Foods! This class series represents the culmination of my experience and education of using whole, raw ingredients. This series strips down the complicated world of raw foods and puts it into a simple, accessible, and practical format. My personal food education started while I was studying at a permaculture farm in Hawaii- I arrived there by choosing to make a documentary on how our society can become more sustainable for my college honors conference. I was 19 and I had never eaten a salad before I arrived but soon enough I was eating completely raw food all the time! I loved the art of preparing raw food so much that I decided to become certified as a chef while still in Hawaii. As I moved on, I continued my raw education over the years taking internships with Raw Alchemy Cafe, Thrive, and, most recently, Cafe Gratitude and The Living Vision. I’ve taught private clients and groups. I’m most proud of my workshop with students from The Evergreen State College. I am looking forward to sharing my skills and recipes so my students can teach others how to prepare great food and restore the lost art of raw food.  You can find out more about me on my website www.gotrawfood.com
